JAMES FLETCHER - Physiotherapist & Breathing coach
James' passion for the respiratory system developed in 2009, when his mother was diagnosed with COPD. She struggled to find treatment options other than the traditional medicated approach to improve her quality of life and capacity to complete simple tasks after 20+ years of smoking. James looked at the research (Gosselink, 2011) to find an interesting approach to treatment for Ex-smokers, Inspiratory Muscle training (IMT). For the past 6 years he has been working with a different base of clients, using the skills he developed working with pathology, applying his Exercise Physiology knowledge he has developed a suite of training techniques designed to push the respiratory system and performance to the next level. Working with the Australian Institute of Sport, Cirque Du Soleil and Olympic Gold medalists, James can apply these techniques to many different environments to push the respiratory system. |
