MADELINE BARLOW - TRANSITION COACH
Madeline is the Founder of Mind-Wise Mentoring LLC and Creator of The Mind-Wise Method, her signature Mind-Body healing program for current and former athletes. As the Mental Performance Coach for a Division I University since 2018, Madeline works directly with teams and coaches to enhance performance and overall experience by teaching mental skills for peak performance. She is also a two-time author of the books "The Highly Sensitive Athlete" and "Athlete to Entrepreneur." Madeline earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013 from Bloomsburg University, where she was a four-year Division II collegiate swimmer, individual and team record holder, and NCAA qualifier. She also has seven years of experience coaching USA club and summer league swim team youth athletes. |
TAJ DASHAUN - TRANSITION COACH
Taj Dashaun is a former Division-1 College Football player for Stony Brook University. After playing his last game of football, Taj struggled heavily with depression. He had never fully developed a clear vision for his life after the game. After several years of stumbling around in the dark, Taj began to take his eyes off of himself and focus on serving others. He now runs an intensive program for retired athletes who are struggling to adapt to life after sports. Not only does Taj help retired athletes land jobs and start businesses, he helps them find fulfillment in every single area of their lives. It's become his personal mission to reach out and help others overcome the fear, frustration, and uncertainty associated with life post-athletics. |
SAMMY JO DIFFENDAFER ALLEN - TRANSITION COACH
Former softball Big XII athlete and 4-year letter winner at Oklahoma State University (softball), Sammy Jo achieved much recognition in her athletic career: high school state champion, 16U national champion, NCAA Division I Women’s College World Series Participant, and NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete. Sammy Jo is now a Transition Coach for Athletes Soul and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She is passionate about helping individuals learn the power of assertiveness, boundaries, social connectedness, and healthy relationships, with the primary goal of helping individuals achieve their own unique goals. Sammy has received master’s-level training, has conducted her own research, and has specialized over the course of her career in systemic theories and interventions. KATIE HARGRAVE - TRANSITION COACH
Katie Hargrave was a competitive athlete for 15 years, finishing her basketball career in 2011 at the NCAA Division II level. She realized at that time she didn't know how to eat or exercise when it wasn't for her sport. She spent several years researching and trying different programs until she was able to find what worked for her. Through this process, she realized her passion is helping others in their journey of finding balanced health. She wrote a book to help athletes with their transition from sport to life: The Athlete After: A 10-week guide to balancing life after sports. She received her Holistic Health Coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is a member of the International Association for Health Coaches. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She is currently living in Olympia, Washington with her husband and son. |

Kelsey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the Chicagoland area who specializes in chronic pain, illness, and sports injury. Kelsey is the owner and CEO of Kelsey Ruffing Counseling, a practice that emphasizes the mind-body connection and whole-health care. Kelsey graduated with a MA in Counseling with an emphasis in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University (2014), a MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2019), and a MA in Clinical Psychology (2018) from Adler University. Kelsey is finishing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Primary Care Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from Adler University. She is currently writing her dissertation on female ACL tears, emotional recovery and identity. |
CHRISTOS PAPADIMITRIOU - TRANSITION COACH TRAINEE
Christos is a professional soccer player who plays in Austria. He is originally from Greece and has played for several soccer teams in Europe including in Germany and Austria. Christos is currently finishing his bachelor in Sport management. Christos hosts a soccer podcast in Greek and is also a mental mental coach for a company in Austria working with professional soccer players. Christos started as an intern with Athletes Soul before switching to becoming a transition coach for the organization in Europe. Christos can coach in English, German and in Greek. |
NEHA UBEROI - TRANSITION COACH
Neha Uberoi is a clinical mental health professional, social entrepreneur and former professional tennis player. She is the co-founder and CEO of South Asians in Sports, a non-profit organization that advocates for, educates and promotes South Asians working in sports globally. Uberoi is also a member of the Board of Directors of the United States Tennis Association. Since retiring from professional tennis in 2009, She has advocated for mental health through research, direct practice, coaching, public speaking and digital content, appearing on various media platforms to provide commentary on sports, women's empowerment and health and wellness, notably; The BBC, Sports Illustrated, SportsBusiness Journal, Columbia University, The Huffington Post, Mind Body Green, NeoSports and Al Jazeera. Uberoi is a graduate of Princeton University. She is currently completing her Masters in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University. |

Q WILLIAMS - TRANSITION COACH
Quentin (Q) Williams is a mental performance coach for current and retired athletes, bringing clarity, brotherhood, and accountability to athletes' deepest mission after sport. Q became a Gator Bowl Champion as a 2-sport athlete at Northwestern University, where he holds a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in Sports Management. After sport, he overcame years of Post-Concussion Syndrome by leveraging his own World Class Method. He went from feeling confused and angry about concussion to feeling lit up, clear-eyed, and committed to thriving and making a world class impact on other athletes. Q serves as an Official Provider for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Behavioral Health and founder of World Class where he supports clients via 1:1 Coaching, Group Courses, and Speaking.
